| As early as September 2008, a handful of such buses sprung up in the three SMRT depots. It is unclear of the number of these Sprinters Bus Plus, subsididary of SMRT, has brought in, but six units of these buses have been registered and are put in service thereafter.
Deployment of these buses first came during SMRT's launch of six Premium Services on 8 September 2008, namely 586, 589, 590, 597, 598 and 599. They were also recently used for a free bus bridging service during the road closures leading up to Singapore's first F1 Night Race.
